The Dining Services Manager is responsible for all aspects of the food service program available at a Merrill Gardens community, including staffing; inventory/budget control; food handling, preparation and storage, and sanitation procedures.

    Job Requirements:
  •   Minimum five years food service experience with at least two years in a management or related position required
  •   Must have knowledge of food safety, sanitation, proper storage and handling procedures
  •   Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
  •   Must have or be able to obtain proper certification as required by state and local statutes, if required.
  •   Must be able to communicate in both written and spoken English
  •   Must be able to communicate in written and spoken English

Regional Director of Quality Service
Pacific Northwest North

The Regional Director of Quality Service (RDQS) is responsible for auditing Merrill Gardens’ communities in an assigned region to assure that they are in compliance with state regulations and Merrill Gardens’ Policy and Procedures. In addition, the RDQS will act as a consultant providing training to staff, advice on hiring and consultative interaction on issues that relate to assisted living and dementia care.

    Job Requirements:
  •   Must be able to read, analyze and interpret state regulations
  •   Must have experience in developing and implementing training programs
  •   Must have certification in Assisted Living, or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in business or health related field, Long Term Care Administration or Health Care Administration
  •   Travel approximately 70-80%
  •   Must be a nurse
  •   Must be able to communicate in written and spoken English
