General Manager In Training
Will travel between regions as needed

The General Manager in Training is expected in work in and learn all aspects of all departments in a specified period of time.  Adheres to customer service philosophy by providing excellent customer service to Team Members and residents.
 
Job Requirements:
  • Must have 2-5 years of management/supervisory experience 
  • Must have experience managing a budget 
  • Must have experience with decision making and problem solving 
  • Must obtain Basic First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of hire 
  • Must have current certification as specified by state agency or ability to obtain required certification within state agency guidelines 
  • Prefer college degree 
  • Must be able to communicate in written and spoken English 
  • FLSA Status – Salary/Exempt
  • Must be willing to relocate  


Regional Quality Services Director
Inter Mountain Region

The Regional Director of Quality Service (RDQS) is responsible for supporting Merrill Gardens’ communities in an assigned region. The RDQS will act as a consultant; providing training to team members, advice on hiring and consultative interaction on issues that relate to assisted living (including dementia care). They will also audit to ensure that the communities are in compliance with state regulations, and Merrill Gardens’ Policy and Procedures.  Adheres to customer service philosophy by providing excellent customer service to team members and residents. 

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to read, analyze and interpret state regulations 
  • Must have experience in developing and implementing training programs
  • Must have nursing or equivalent background with related experience
  • Travel approximately 80-90%
  • Must have the ability to be insured through the company vehicle insurance company.
  • Regular and timely attendance
  • FLSA Status: Exempt


Vice President of Real Estate and Development

Directs and coordinates the management of existing corporate real estate and new property development activities for Merrill Gardens by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.  This position is responsible for the areas pertaining to new property development, capital budgets, physical plant, installed equipment, vehicles, construction support, preventive maintenance and repairs.  Adheres to customer service philosophy by providing excellent customer service to team members and residents. 

Job Requirements:

  • Must have 7-10 years of experience in both property development and preventative maintenance.
  • Must have 5+ years of management/supervisory experience
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Must be familiar with Word, Excel, project management and database software
  • Prefer a college degree
  • Approximately 50% travel
  • Regular and timely attendance
  • FLSA Status: Exempt


Payroll Associate

The position of the Payroll Associate is responsible for timely and accurate payroll data entry, audits of data entry, reconciliations, journal entries, support for the payroll function and support for GMs and Bookkeepers. Adheres to customer service philosophy by providing excellent customer service to team members and residents. 

Job Requirements:

  • Two year degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two years of progressive payroll experience with payrolls > 1000 employees in multi state environment
  • Experience working with decentralized locations- support
  • ADP Enterprise
  • Basic knowledge of benefits and accounting
  • High attention to details
  • Excel skills
  • Demonstrated organization, time management and communication skills
  • Regular and timely attendance
