Merrill Gardens recognizes the enjoyment and companionship pets provide their owners. Pets are welcome in the Community as long as they do not become a nuisance or threat to the safety and comfort of others, or do not cause property damage. While accommodations may be made for pet owners, established guidelines reflect the Community's responsibility for the safety, comfort and convenience of all residents. The Community has the discretion to allow pets based upon the Community needs and expectations.
In general, residents may bring into the Community a total of two of the following types of household pets. Exceptions must be approved by the General Manager. The General Manager must approve all pets prior to acceptance. A designated staff member will assess the pet for behavior, discipline, grooming, disposition, size and compatibility with the Community's environment.
Pricing for Pet Accommodations and Services
There is a nonrefundable surcharge for pet owners. The Community may also offer services for pet owners, which will be billed on a monthly basis. Pricing for services offered pet owners will be at the Community's discretion, and will be based upon market rates, Community layout, and staffing availability. Communities will also have discretion for the types of services offered. Please contact the Community directly to inquire about prices and services offered.
All pets have identification with the name and phone number of the responsible resident.
