The Groves, A Merrill Gardens Community
Update May 21:
We want to let you know that a team member has tested positive for COVID-19. The team member last worked in the community on May 4 and will not be returning to the community until the quarantine period has passed. We have reached out to anyone this individual may have been in contact with during their work, but we believe the risk is low given that we are past the two-week mark. It is also important to note that no other team members or residents are currently reporting any symptoms of the virus.
We want to remain vigilant in our fight against the virus and our Enhanced Resident Protection Protocol will continue as outlined below:
- Visitors at not allowed in the community.
- The dining room remains closed and residents are receiving all meals delivered to their apartments.
- Residents remain in their apartments.
As an added precaution we will be testing all team members at the community for the virus. We have tested all the residents for the virus and we are waiting on results. We will also continue checking residents and team members for fever symptoms each day. It is also important that residents or team members alert us immediately if they are feeling ill.
