We are pleased to report there are no residents or team members with a confirmed case of COVID-19 at the community at this time.
Update May 13:
There are no residents or team members with a confirmed case of COVID-19 at the community at this time.
Update May 4:
There are no additional residents and no team members with a positive diagnosis of COVID-19 at the community. The resident tested positive on April 9 and remains away from the community.
Update April 20:
There have been no additional cases of the virus at the community since the resident tested positive on April 9. We want to thank our residents and team members for continuing to adhere to our Enhanced Resident Protection Protocol.
Update April 15:
We want to provide an update and let you know that we do not have any additional residents or team members who have tested positive for COVID-19. The resident who tested positive for the virus remains in the hospital and I know you will join us in sending them our very best wishes. That resident was last in the community nine days ago on April 6 and we have reached out to anyone who may have been in contact with that individual. We are also continuing to work closely with the health department.
We want to thank you for your cooperation in following our Enhanced Resident Protection Protocol as we firmly believe this is the best course of action to limit the spread of the virus. While we know it can be challenging at times, we very much appreciate your efforts to remain in your apartment during this time.

Update April 13:
No other residents or team members have tested positive for the virus at this time. One resident is being treated at the hospital for COVID-19. (see below)
Update April 10:
To All Residents, Family Members and Team Members at Merrill Gardens at Willow Glen,
We want to let you know that a resident at the community has tested positive for COVID-19. This individual has been hospitalized since April 6 and received a positive test for the virus on April 9. The resident remains in the hospital for treatment. We are reaching out individually to anyone who might have been in contact with this individual.
As you know, we are already operating under our Enhanced Resident Protection Protocol and that will continue, and we are also doing additional deep sanitation throughout the community.
Enhanced Resident Protection Protocol
- Visitors are not allowed at the community at this time.
- The dining room remains closed, and residents are receiving all meals via delivery to apartments.
Residents Remain in Apartments:
- During this time, residents will need to remain in their apartments.
- We are continuing to screen for fevers with daily temperature checks for all residents and team members. We also ask that residents and team members alert us immediately if they are feeling ill.
We understand that family members may choose to have a resident live with them during this time and we will accommodate that as needed. We do ask that the residents who leave the community remain with the family until we can resume normal operations.
