A Word From the Community
At Truewood by Merrill, Modesto

"I think Truewood is a wonderful place to live. I don’t like living alone, and here I have a very large family. There is always someone to smile at and say hello to.

We have a wonderful Activity Director who always keeps us busy. There are exercise classes to keep us in shape, bingo, and beanbag baseball to have fun with the other residents. We also enjoy outings to a variety of different restaurants in and out of town. Once a month, we take a beautiful country drive to one of our local casinos.

When I first moved to Truewood, I lived in one of the cottages, which I really liked. It gave me the opportunity to care for the beautiful roses outside my door. I was here a year before I moved out of state to be closer to family.

Guess what? I came back to my Truewood family because I missed all my friends and the wonderful staff. I also missed the many activities that were offered. This is my forever home with my extended family."
