Who Is
Merrill Gardens

Merrill Gardens is a company dedicated to making a difference in the lives of residents, families and team members - this is our mission, to provide an inspiring environment where every life is defined by the possibilities.  Through various efforts put forth by our DEIA committee, our Kindness initiatives, excellent team member benefits, and an overall drive to do the right thing, Merrill Gardens is proud to be a wonderful place for people to live and work. 

As a company, we have been focusing on "Unreasonable Hospitality". This theme comes from a book by the same name by Will Guidara. We are challenging ourselves to show up for one another and for the people we serve with even more intention. We are asking how we can 'wow' someone each and every day.

Giving Back

Giving back is in our company DNA and an ongoing committment to be part of the communities we serve. 

One example is our annual Day of Service where our General Manager and Regional Team Members partner with local organizations to make a difference.

This month we meet Nico Felix from our DEIA Comittee. Nico brings a diverse perspective shaped by his Southern California upbringing.  With French Canadian, Native American and Mexican heritage, he values cultural connection and representation.  As one of six siblings, Nico developed adaptability, collaboration, and resilience. 

Originally a psychology major, Nico transitioned into tech during the 2008 financial crisis before building a career in mortgage marketing and property management. As a mixed-race LGBTQIA+ individual, Nico is passionate about advocacy. He believes in creating spaces where people feel safe, supported, and empowered to be their authentic selves, and is committed to turning equity into meaningful action. Nico is a Leasing Specialist at Stadium Place with sister company Pillar Properties.
