"Before moving into Merrill Gardens at Columbia, we were two individuals whose paths had not yet crossed. That changed when we discovered a shared love of gardening, which naturally drew us together to spend time caring for the plants on the outdoor rooftop deck.
What began as tending flowers and greenery side by side slowly and beautifully grew into something more. In that peaceful garden space, our connection deepened, love took root, and we eventually married. It felt only right and deeply meaningful to celebrate our wedding in the very place where our story first began—the rooftop garden here at Merrill Gardens.
Merrill Gardens is more than just where our journey started; it has become our home. We are sincerely grateful for the kindness, warmth, and sense of belonging we have found here, and we feel truly fortunate to be part of the Merrill Gardens family and this welcoming community."
