The team at Murano Senior Living combines decades of experience in senior living, hospitality, food and beverage, and event planning. Their diverse backgrounds come together to form a team that is truly remarkable and ready to use their talents to help Murano Senior Living residents live better than ever.
Eric Piekarz is not new to luxury senior living. Having successfully opened and managed a senior living community in Connecticut, Eric made the move west and joined Murano Senior Living in June of 2021. His prior senior living experience includes national as well as regional providers. His earlier career included work at a community foundation and pediatric physician practice management.
Both a giver and a helper, Eric is focused on extraordinary hospitality. “Every single service and amenity we provide is delivered from a hospitality perspective. Whether that’s our industry-leading dining program, apartment cleaning, and maintenance, our various levels of care and wellness, or our beautifully appointed public spaces, hospitality and customer service are the common threads that run through everything we do at Murano.”

Maria Crespo comes to Murano Senior Living with 11 years of experience in the senior living industry. She started her journey as a caregiver and progressed to the business office. She moved to Seattle in 2009 from Burbank, California to work in equipment financing. However, Maria felt a calling to give back after her mother went into remission from cancer. She decided that senior living was the way to do it and has been working with seniors in different roles ever since.
Her passion for serving and her warm personality make her especially suited for her role as the Business Office Manager here at Murano. In her spare time, Maria enjoys exploring life in the outdoors and spending quality time with her family and seven grandchildren.
